About
The Line Cook follows the Chef’s exact instructions when preparing food. The line cook’s job is to prepare meals for serving, which includes chopping vegetables, slaughtering meat, and making sauces. Along with the other members of the kitchen crew, the Line Cook helps with menu items.
Requirements
- Professional kitchen experience, including working a hot line and grill is required
- Experience in full service restaurant is desired
- Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Flexible schedule
- Task-driven individual
